Tourism Awards Finalists

November 29, 2022
WCWR has been recognised as a Tasmanian Tourism Award finalist!
After a big couple of years, battling lock downs, COVID cancellations, high demand and even a couple of locomotive breakdowns, the team at West Coast Wilderness Railway are thrilled to be announced as finalists in the Tasmanian Tourism Awards.

The submission process for the awards sees entrants detail elements of their entire business. For us, this meant talking about everything from our history, to the values our team uphold and the steps we take to deliver exceptional passenger experiences. We also provided information on our most recent business innovations, including improvements to staff housing, the onboard experience and our cafe operations as well as our environmental and social sustainability efforts.

This result is a testament to our entire team's commitment to safety, innovation, experience and quality and we're incredibly proud to be included amongst some other amazing finalists!
