Tracks on Point is a licensed café located in the heritage train station in the seaside village of Strahan on the west coast of Tasmania. As well as being a cafe and gift shop, we are also the departure point for the River and Rainforest journey and Queenstown Explorer experience for passengers of the West Coast Wilderness Railway; one of the west coast’s most popular attractions.
Pop in for a great coffee and brunch (available on days that the train departs Strahan) or choose from our popular pancakes, shakes and burger menu for lunch and dinner. We are fully licensed as well, so if all you want to do is watch the sunset from the rail platform with a glass of wine, you can do that too!
The below hours indicate the hours that the café is open, however, please note that the full menu is not available between 3pm and 5pm. Coffee, cake and shakes are still available during these hours.
