WCWR is getting back on track after a winter of infrastructure upgrades and we’re steaming out of the station with two short services this Summer.
Join us onboard the Lynchford Express at Queenstown Station for a 1.5-hour heritage steam train adventure to Lynchford Station and back. Take in the Pioneer’s Room and try your hand at gold-panning before heading back onboard and back to Queenstown.
Need a proper Tassie wilderness hit? From February 2024, climb aboard a heritage diesel train at Regatta Point Station in Strahan for the Teepookana and the King experience. Head out on a 2.5-hour journey to Lower Landing Station, nestled by the scenic King River, and take a guided walk and taste local forest honey before heading back to Strahan.
