Railway a Tourism Awards finalist

The West Coast Wilderness Railway is proud to be named a finalist in the 2018 Tasmanian Tourism Awards.

The West Coast Wilderness Railway has been named as a finalist in the Tasmanian Tourism Awards for 2018.

The heritage railway on Tasmania's West Coast was named as a finalist in the Tourism Attraction category at ceremonies hosted by the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania this week.

It was one of many Tasmanian tourism operations named among the finalists, each of whom has been judged as meeting the highest national standards for business excellence, innovation and sustainability in tourism.. The full list of finalists is available from the Tourism Industry Council website.

Winners will be announced in Hobart on Friday 9 November, with finalists proceeding to the Australian Tourism Awards, which will be announced at the national awards gala in Launceston during February.
