Rail and stay packages now available

October 19, 2020
We've partnered with a number of local operators to bring you rail and stay packages

Queenstown

Queenstown is a great little destination and traditionally overlooked by locals heading to the seaside town of Strahan. But Queenstown has undergone its own rennaissance over the last few years and now boasts a number of great local walks, galleries and plenty of quirky history to explore. Queenstown is the perfect base to explore the west coast from over several days as well as being conveniently located if you’re joining the Rack and Gorge journey.

Marsden Court, Strahan

Why do we love it?

Marsden Court is on the site of the historically government-owned locomotive turntable in Strahan so it has a great connection with our railway story. The now disused rail track used to run from this site all the way to Zeehan!

What's the offer?

Stay 2 nights in a studio apartment and experience a West Coast Railway Rack and Gorge journey in a Heritage Carriage for only $405.00 or in Wilderness Carriage for only $475.00 (accommodation and train offer available for 2 adults when  booked prior to 31st December 2020 and subject to availability).

Hosts Pam and Mark are happy to arrange family pricing on request.
