Online browsing

You can access our website home page and browse our site without disclosing personal information. West Coast Wilderness Railway will only record an individual's email address and/or contact details if they subscribe to one of our newsletters or make a tentative, waitlisted or confirmed journey booking.

Our website utilises “cookies” to record information about your preferences and activities on our website to help us communicate with you more effectively. Your reservation

We collect personal information in relation to your waitlist, tentative or confirmed reservation in our booking system, CustomLinc. This information is critical in delivering the service that you are purchasing, or wish to purchase, and we are unable to deliver a service without this information.

We will only disclose your personal information if it is necessary for the purpose of providing products or services to you or complying with our legal obligations.

You may request access to your personal information and request that it be corrected at any time. To make this request, please email privacy@wcwr.com.au.

We use the information collected about you via our booking system to:

  • Hold your booking and provide the service that you have purchased or wish to purchase
  • Electronically confirm your booking details directly to you
  • Electronically communicate pre and post journey information with you
  • Manage any special requests such as dietary requests or other needs
